Nike Alumni In The News: Nike alums aim to invent a better backpack that won’t wind up in a landfill

David Ngene, Jr and Sebastian Tesche today launched Pacmodo, a company that seeks to reinvent the backpack, and if all goes well, other consumer products. They join a growing list of Nike alums who have become entrepreneurs. 

“I want to sell each of my products two or three times,” Ngene said. “Then I want to take that material and break it down and upcycle. We’re not here to pump more stuff out, but to teach people how to keep stuff and cherish it.”
